Monument began life in 2016 by a group of engineers and designers after looking for an easy solution to back up and organize photos scattered across multiple hard drives and computers without giving up on privacy and security. After launching the product for pre-orders on Kickstarter and Indiegogo, we shipped our first generation product in 2017.
Currently, Monument is sold through major online retailers in the U.S.: Amazon, BestBuy, Walmart, B&H Photo, Adorama, Target, and The Grommet.
We are named as one of the Top 100 startups by Wired Magazine(UK). We are headquartered in Chicago.
