RELIABLE STORAGE
With built-in SSD, Monument provides you the reliability that you can trust for your precious memories. SSD is the fastest, most reliable storage technology. That’s what you need for your photos!
You can also choose the diskless model* to use existing USB drives for storage and add more capacity when you need it.
Monument 2 has no storage limit. If you plug in a 12TB USB drive or SSD module, you will have 12TB of storage.
* The diskless model comes with the M.2 SSD connector installed. You can use this to add your own SSD module in the future. Note that only SATA SSDs are supported. Here are some of the SSD drives supported.
NETWORK STORAGE
Monument 2 can now be accessed from any computer as a network drive. This is a big deal because it allows users to:
- You can access all content quickly, because it's stored on the drives.
- Use the QuickImport folder to quickly import photos/videos into Monument library.
- Use Smart Folders to browse locations, cameras, tags, etc. without launching the Monument app.
- Store other files types other than photos and videos e.g., your computer backup, PDF files, documents etc.
CREATE ADDITIONAL BACKUPS
Add another layer of redundancy by creating additional backups on your external hard drive or existing NAS (Network Attached Storage) automatically.
Monument mirrors the contents to another USB drive (RAID-1) or to a network drive (NAS) automatically.
ORGANIZE THE WAY YOU WANT
Import your existing folders and Monument will automatically carry over the folder/album structure. So you can keep things the way they are.
Have photos lying around on old hard drives?
Simply plug in the drive and Monument handles the rest by scanning all photos and videos by eliminating duplicates and sorting them like magic.
